How I spent my Labor Day weekend 2006

Friday of the Labor Day weekend Jeff, Lana and I caraVaned with Tony and Justy to the DMB concert at the Gorge. Candice had to work at the Boise Library!

Great Concert, need I say it?

Mr. Carter rocks my world like no other. Such rhythm. Unrivaled on this planet.

A true and wholesome DMB FAN - Lana.

Then feeling bad Candy was off and we weren't home; we drove the 7 hours back home the next day and left for Trinity Lakes. Check a map. It's up there in the mountains past Anderson Ranch. My van took a beating. But she held up.

So I present to you - Trinity Lakes!

Jeff and I woke up early the next morning to find the canoe was gone! The thieves, Lana and Candy. Awesome!

Cancun Vacation at The Mayan Palace

Away from downtown Cancun is a resort called The Mayan Palace.

The lobby. I'd show you a picture of us in it. But when we first got there we were pretty frazzled. Long flight.

Beautifully manicured grounds, with these little lizards crawling all around. Too cool.

Glacier Park Voyage

We visited Glacier National Park as our first trip after purchasing our Ford Econoline Van.

Enjoy Springtime at GNP - WE DID!

The park location called "Many Glaciers". Gorgeous hotel there! We plan on staying there next time.

Cannon Beach, Oregon Vacation

This is our family vacation along the Oregon Coast earlier this year. Water currents are very dangerous.

One of the stops was to Cape Disappointment near the coast guard station there.

This is a great assignment if your in the service there. Tough duty.

We went in town for fresh crab every day when we stayed at a cottage in Seaside. The town is Illawaco.
